In an effort to keep all students, parishoners, and parish staff safe, we will be enforcing the following guidelines while on St. Thomas Aquinas Property. Please see below for STA Guidelines on using the building and attending Mass.
Instructions for Attending Mass
DISPENSATION: Bishop Knestout maintains the dispensation FOR ALL from attendance at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation.
BATHROOMS: Please use the restroom before arriving at the parish. Restrooms are higher-risk and only one person is permitted in the restroom at a time.
NO FOOD/DRINKS: Leave food and drinks at home.
NO SHARED BOOKS OR PAPERS are permitted in the church.
ARRIVE 30 minutes prior to Mass.
HEALTH INFORMATION: Be prepared to be asked about any updated health conditions with regard to COVID-19.
FACE MASKS are required at all times
SOCIAL DISTANCING is required upon entering the parish property, for the entire visit, and upon departure.
CHECK IN upon arrival. All entry to the church must go through the station at the entrance from the parkinglot. No entrance is permitted
USHERS: Follow the directions of the ushers at all times. Ushers will escourt you to your pew.
REMAIN with social distancing between fmaily groups where you have been seated until instructed otherwise by an usher.
COMMUNION RECEPTION: Ushers will direct you during Communion. Communion may not be taken home to family members. Please do not present a pyx at communion time. Communion is not available for those unable to attend Mass.
GATHERING TO SOCIALIZE IS NOT PERMITTED. Please clear the parking area as soon as possible so that the church may be sanitized and prepared for the next Mass.
